New York County Business Patterns Economic Profile-
National Association of Counties

Choose county and then Census Bureau County Page for information on economic profile, population, 1997 economic census, model-based income and poverty estimates, and housing demographics. Useful for analyzing economic activity over time.
 
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is replacing the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system. NAICS was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business activity across North America. The Census Bureau has provided a comparison of NAICS and SIC 1997 Economic Census data.
 
New York State Data Center
Select county of interest. This is a cooperative program with the U.S. Bureau of the Census for distribution of Census and state and federal statistical information. The Data Center provides a variety of services to business, government and general data users.
 
Statistical Abstract of the United States-U.S. Census Bureau
