Librarians all over the country are doing great programming for teens. But what about those tweens. kids ages 10-13? They’re too ‘cool’ for elementary programs and too young for teen programs, so what do we do with them? Come hear about great programs you can offer in your library, find out why a tween advisory board can jump start your services, and get some strategies for dealing with this vital and important age group.

Agenda:
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM — Tween and teen advisory boards for small libraries
10:30 AM – noon — Working with tweens
noon – 12:30 PM — Lunch (included)
12:45 PM – 1:30 PM — Activity and programming tips
1:30 PM – 2:15 PM — Program sharing, Q&A
2:15 PM – 3:00 PM — Tween and teen advisory boards for large libraries
