Parents can make a real impact on kids’ adoption of literacy skills – and on how often you see those kids in your library. Learn about incoporating family literacy components – parental presence and involvement, interactive literacy activities, and parent education – into your programming. The focus will be on history and ecology programs. Please contact Mary Fellows at UHLS to register (437-9880 ext 228; firstname.lastname@example.org
); the registration deadline is September 24.
This is a project of Upper Hudson Library System, and is supported by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
