Come for a great educational experience about communicating with the press and media in today’s world of email, text messages, and other high tech devices. Hosted by the Mohawk Valley Museums Consortium, this presentation is geared for museums, historic sites, tourism spots, and educational programmers. The panel will include: Tim Ruffunen, the Assignment Manager for Capital News 9; Bill Buell, reporter for the Daily Gazette; Dick Nilson, photo journalist for the Leader Herald; Joshua Thomas, editor of the Standard Courier; and the infamous radio personality Bob Cudmore. All will be available questions and answers following their presentations of the topic “How to Write Press Releases and Communicate with the Media in the 21st Century”. The workshop is free, and preregistration is not required.
