This interactive workshop will be presented by Literacy New York Directors, Lisa Cardilli (Fulton, Montgomery, Schoharie) and Sue Hensley-Cushing (Greater Capital Region) will give a snapshot of the new training approach being used for adult learners. Using case studies for Basic Literacy, English Language Learning, and Pre-GED/GED learners, we’ll learn about the kinds of materials and services that can be used to compliment literacy strategies. Libraries will be able to purchase materials to support literacy learner needs through the grant.
At 11:00 AM there will be a ribbon cutting for Literacy New York’s office, which is locating in the Canajoharie Library building. Press will be there and you are welcome to attend.
