Find out how you can transform your summer reading program and attract a broader elementary and family audience! This hands-on workshop features activities that are specifically designed for the theme “Dig Into Reading” and have the 4-H flair for science learning that is informal and fun. Participants will receive a “Partnering with 4-H” manual as well as tips and tools that will make putting together and promoting programs a snap! Presenters Donna Cooke, of Cornell’s Garden-Based Learning Program, and Kelly Ann Radzik, NYS Library Partnership Coordinator and Resource Extension Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties, will cover two topics – ancient creatures/dinosaurs, and gardening.
