I’m loving this series of blog posts by library tech guru David Lee King. Online First is the idea that everything your organization does should have an online component, and that the online parts should be as important as the in-person component. Do you take reference questions via email or on social media? Do you let patrons register for programs online? Is your library well represented and interacting where your patrons are online – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram? If yes, great! If not – what’s holding you back?? You should check out this series of posts and also check out David’s book, Face2Face, available from the MVLS professional collection.
