Workshop – Circulation & Selection Policies & Procedures

Bring your library’s written policies, procedures, best practices and your questions to discuss ways we can improve on these services. Free-form discussion can include but will be not limited to:

  • JA membership agreement and JA patron policies
  •  Consortium conventions and procedures (MVLS + SALS = JA) – What you do may impact all patrons in the consortium
  • How to provide better customer service at the circulation desk – Issuing a library card, notifications, receipts, ways to communicate
  • Ways to harness social media for marketing
