Please join us for this introductory webinar on the basics of being a public library director in New York State. This webinar is intended as a jumping-off point, to aid a new public library director in New York State to get the “lay of the land” both in the library and within the New York library community, to understand the basics and to get down to the business of providing quality library service to the community.
The primary audience for this webinar is new public library directors, but others are welcome to attend. The webinar will count as continuing education for New York State Public Librarian Certification. For those who are unable to attend the live webinar on September 12, the webinar will be archived on the State Library’s website at a future date (see http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/libdev/webinars/index.html ).
