The Upper Hudson Library System (UHLS) is a cooperative library system headquartered in Albany, NY. Our mission is to provide services to enhance, support, and connect the 29 public libraries in New York’s Albany and Rensselaer Counties. Our new colleague will report to the Manager, Adult & Outreach Services and deliver effective customer service to system staff and our member libraries, as well as assist with:
- Professional development programs
- eContent collections
- Telecommunications reimbursement (E-rate)
- Daily operations, including interlibrary loan, delivery support, maintenance of circulating collections and equipment, and maintaining statistical tools
This position requires at least one year of post-secondary course work, with preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree; AND
One or more years of experience in a library or office; OR
An equivalent combination of technical training, education, and experience.
This is a full-time position, with a 37.5 hour workweek scheduled between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. The position includes a competitive benefits package and participation in the NYS Retirement System.
