Richmondville Industries, High Street, Richmondville, NY

In 1875, Richmondville had more factories and mills than any other town between Oneonta and Albany. This was partially due to almost endless supplies of water and being on the Delaware & Hudson Railroad. Factories included a paper mill, a machine shop, a woolen factory, a flax mill and a cider mill. This old mill is located on High Street.
