"Scenes of Fort Plain" a mural by area folk artist Phyllis Duffy commissioned by the library and funded by a grant from the Schoharie Council on the Arts as a tribute to our town's history at the dawning of a new century. Historic buildings depicted include:

a. Clinton Liberal Institute

b. Fort Plain Museum

c. DAR House

d. Montgomery Hall

e. Fritcher Opera House

f. Fort Plain Free Library

g. Haslett Park Fountain
