The Gloversville Armory, Gloversville, NY
The Gloversville Armory was built in 1904 and has always been the home of the local chapter of The National Guard. Its most obvious feature is the tower, which stands high above the rest of the building. The location of the Armory on a hill allows a fantastic vantage point for the whole area and the tower became a military lookout tower in times of war.
