The YMCA, Gloversville, NY

YMCA

Now located at 19 East Fulton, the YMCA met in 5 different locations in the first 10 years of its inception in 1882. Eventually, they decided that a building of their own was needed. In 1913, they commissioned architect F.L. Comstock to design a building. The outcome was a Renaissance Revival building whose exterior has changed little, although more modern extensions have been added.
