Rubin Glove Factory, Gloversville, NY

Rubin Glove Factory

Joseph M. Rubin and his five sons founded the Rubin Glove Company in 1901. In 1920 they decided they needed a building to house their growing business and the Rubin Glove Factory on East Fulton Street was born.

The company manufactured dress and ski gloves becoming a premier 20th century glove factory. Factories like this one gave Gloversville its proud name. Unfortunately, the building now stands empty. The structure is still sound and the company's logo and catchphrase still stand on the front, stating "We Glove You."
