Duanesburg Elementary School, Duanesburg, NY
(currently Central National Bank)

Old School - Central National

Originally built in the late 1920's as a school, it housed eight grades. Downstairs housed the first and second grades, upstairs in one room were the third, fourth, and fifth grades and in the second upstairs room were the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. It eventually became a Kindergarten through sixth grade school. In the early 1950's the present elementary school was built and this school closed in 1954. After remaining vacant for many years, the Central National Bank purchased the building. Upstairs, unaltered classrooms still remain.
