Transcript:

"The Sheriff at one time lived, had living quarters in the Court House. The kitchen also, you know, the bedrooms. They [the prisoners] were on the first floor and then later they built a jail in the back. But the Sheriff's family still lived" ["Kids and all?"] "kids and all…Doc [Ward] Oliver, in Cobleskill, graduated from Schoharie school and when his father was Sheriff, he was from Summit, lived in the Court House."

"The Old Stone Fort has a neat display of the things from those jails that have been attached to or in the Court House, and there's a wooden key there that was used for cells."
