Sharon Springs Central School

Sharon Springs Central School was the first centralized school in Schoharie County. It opened in 1931 by consolidating six schools: Union, Stanleyville, Engleville, Sharon Center and White. Later 9 other one-room schools joined the centralized district. There have been three additions built since 1931 and another large addition is being built now. Children from Kindergarten through 12th grade attend the school. It is located on Route 20, west of the stop light.
