United Methodist Church, Sharon Springs, NY

United Methodist Church

During the 1850's, the United Methodist Church building was shared by Lutherans and Methodists. The Methodists gained full control of the property in 1867. The steeple was later removed and the building completely remodeled. It is located on Route 20, across from the school. It is still an active congregation with weekly services. The community summer Bible school has been held here for many years.
