American Hotel, Town, Sharon Springs, NY

American Hotel

The American Hotel was built in 1850. It is the oldest remaining hotel is Sharon Springs and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on the west side of Main Street (Rt. 10). It is an example of Greek Revival architecture with a 3-story columned front porch. It has been empty for many years but is being fixed up by new owners, Garth Roberts and Douglas Plummer.
