Sulphur Water Temple, Sharon Springs, NY

Sulphur Water Temple

A number of earlier wood temples covered the sulphur water well. The current eight sided pavilion was built in 1930. You can find the temple on the west side of Main Street in a park set back from the street. Sulphur water flows year round in the well and is available for you to drink. The water smells like rotten eggs but is supposed to make you well.
