Size 43 ½ X 33 ¾ in. This picture shows the Brood mare barn and part of the ¾ mile training track on the Hurricana Stud Farm owned and operated by the Sanford Family (Carpet Mogul) of Amsterdam, NY. This stud farm was in operation from 1870 - 1980 and the building in the painting is still standing and hopefully will be preserved as a historical site in the State of NY. |
