The Best House contains a wonderful clothing collection, some dating back to the mid-19th century, up to and including the 1960s.

The white blouse and skirt on the left are trimmed with hand made cutwork embroidery, a schoolgirl's outfit. The floral print in the center is organdy, a lovely garden party dress. Emma Best wore the beautiful lace trimmed net dress on the right for her 1917 high school graduation.
