| Passenger
Station, Delaware & Hudson Railroad. Colored post card. This station is at its original location along the D&H Tracks. It replaced one built in 1864 when the railroad first reached Cobleskill. Prior to this, the neighboring villages were larger, but the arrival of the rails increased traffic, businesses and industry to Cobleskill until it became the largest town in the County. Passenger service discontinued in 1963, but trains hauling frieght continue to pass through the village. |
