Scenes of the Mohawk Valley from Utica to Schenectady, published in the year 1902, with a brief history included in each of the nine volumes.

The view of Fort Plain (from Part 8) encompasses both the downtown village area and the surrounding hillsides on the east side of the Mohawk River.
