CLI  52-60.  Program of Class Day Banquet, dated 1892.

The Clinton Liberal Institute was destroyed by fire on March 25, 1900. Fortunately this occurred during spring vacation when most of the students and faculty were not in residence.  An attempt to fumigate the building due to an earlier outbreak of scarlet fever resulted in the fire, which leveled the campus in less than four hours. The Fort Plain High School now stands on the former site of this historic school.
