Paper; colored; 41 x 41 cm. Fulton County was formed from the northern part of Montgomery County on April 18, 1838. Kingsborough and Johnstown are shown, but not Gloversville, as Gloversville was not incorporated as a village and third class municipality until 1853. This map shows the locations of old stage and country roads, villages, flour mills, manufacturing sites, sawmills, forges and churches. Many of the place names have changed or no longer exist. |
