This photo shows the booklet telling the history of Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s life. It was produced locally by the Johnstown Historical Society in celebration of her lifelong work for women’s right to equality.

The library has developed an extensive collection of books and materials pertaining to Stanton and her work for equality for women in America. Included are many biographies, newspaper articles and her writings.
