Section X Top Shelf. Cash Ledger of the M&S Railroad Company Size 22.9 x 38.1 cm

The Middleburgh & Schoharie Railroad Ledger is accompanied by Freight Accounts of the Schoharie Valley Railroad Company. Both of these ledgers are dated from the 1860s to 1880s. Information about this “shortest rail line” is available in several sources in the Schoharie County History Section IX. We also have the register from the “White House”, an historic hotel in Middleburgh. The register contains records from Jan. 1894 to July 1895. There are several other large sized record books in this section, dating in the mid-1800s.
