Kimm describes the native inhabitants of the Schoharie and Mohawk Valleys.  Other references offering a picture of the local Indians, and as Carmer’s Listen for a Lonesome Drum and Beauchamp’s A History of the New York Indians.  We have Vrooman’s “The Massacre” and Edmonds’ “In the Hands of the Senecas” among other sources about the Indians.
