1. The Schoharie Review, Vol.IX-No.22, December 29, 1955, 17 x
11 cm. folded. How many "Flood of the Century" years can there be for one community? As evidenced by this original 1955 copy of "The Schoharie Review," apparently more than one. On January 19, 1996 the most recent "100 Year Flood" closed schools, bridges, stores and churches for days and left five feet of standing water in the Library basement. Note the cost of the paper: $2.50 per year and Single Copy 8 cents! |
