| Founder's
Day Booklets Founder's Day was first celebrated in 1980, and the first booklet was likewise published that year. The tradition continued until it was overwhelmed by Apathy in 1997, the Last Founder's Day Celebration. Each Founder's Day had a theme: Hotels, the Railroad, Schools, Fire Departments, 200 year old farms, saw mills, stone buildings, etc. The eighteenth and final booklet, that of 1997, was an over-all review and ironically was to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Sharon, from 1797 to 1997. |
