The ESL Center
An interesting mix of links to varied resources including: grammar, network TV and radio, vocabulary games and exercises, business English, reading and writing, magazines, music lyrics and more.

The ESLoop
A collection of sites about English language teaching and learning. Each site is linked to the next.

Exchange
Information about cultures of different countries-includes recipes cultures,stories and poetry. Pen-pals and class projects, writings submitted by non-native English speakers.

Internet Resources for ESL Teachers and Learners
British site with a collection of Internet links useful to teachers and learners of languages. Five broad categories: general, language specific, multilingual, Internet based instruction, search engines, and commercial.

The Linguist List
Large site with links to over 150 sites. Includes resources for teachers and students, software, and language programs.

NETEACH-L
Some websites that Internet teachers thought were cool. Many topics organized by category.

PBS ESL Civics Link
Provides web-based materials that help teachers increase their knowledge and skills for teaching adults, teaching English to speakers of other languages, teaching cross-cultural awareness, and integrating English literacy instruction and civics education.

Quizzes for ESL Students
Grammar, vocabulary, and various topic quizzes with answers.

Sounds English
Evaluations of Macintosh software useful for teachers of English and learners of English as a foreign language. This is a British site.

Teaches words by listening and testing yourself. Organized by category and easy to navigate. Available for a variety of languages.

The Virtual CALL Library
British site for language education with links to shareware and freeware.

Voice of America
Listen to and read world news-but be patient! It may take a long time to download audio files.

Writing Den
Innovative reading, writing, and listening. An ESL site using slides and audio samples.
