All of us who work in libraries need to practice daily habits of self-promotion. No matter what kind of library we serve, we need to seize every opportunity to promote our skills and services. We need to become highly visible. Visible to our users, students, teachers, faculty, administration, taxpayers, elected officials, board members. We need to learn how to tell stories that highlight the ways our particular library improves people’s lives. Join us to learn more about how to be an effective library advocate.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear a nationally-known speaker for free! You must pre-register by December 5 at the link above to receive the URL for the program.
This training is funded in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds, awarded to New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
