Visit your public libraries on Saturday, February 1st and help celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” Now in its third year, this annual event is held nation-wide on the first Saturday in February. The event encourages people to start and/or continue the habit of taking a child to the library regularly. You’ll be amazed at how it can improve literacy and a love of learning. If you need a library card, or are thinking of getting one for your child, this is a great time to sign up.
