Finding a way for your words to resonate will help you reach your goals. In her book, Resonate, Nancy Duarte analyzes some of the most effective speeches of our time and offers a method for presenting stories and facts that will captivate audiences.
In this three-part interactive skill-building workshop, facilitated by Lois Gordon, we will watch a brief talk by Nancy Duarte and use her method to develop a brief presentation. We’ll determine our “big idea”, learn the guidelines of an effective presentation, develop our own styles and practice our delivery to learn how to transform our ideas into action. Build the skills you need to communicate with all kinds of people in order to reach your goals.
Since collaboration enhances this process, bring trustees and/or staff to share ideas. This process will be most effective if all workshops are attended.
