Date: Thursday, November 02. 2017
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM

In 2014, Toronto Public revolutionized its delivery of services to children aged 6-12. With a focus on supporting healthy child development and resiliency, the Library created a research-based framework for middle childhood that transformed its programs, services, and spaces. School age children now find spaces and experiences intentionally developed to foster creativity, support critical thinking, and inspire self-directed learning. Join us to learn about this internationally acclaimed model, how it fits into what you’re already doing, and ways to adapt it to strengthen your service to school age children.

More information is available on the workshop flyer. 5 CEU will be awarded. Register online at http://bit.ly/2xTv5M5 ; deadline to register is Friday, October 27.
