The Ezra Jack Keats Foundation offers minigrants of $500 to school and public libraries for creative, innovative programs that support or extend the basic curriculum by providing an experience, activity or project not otherwise offered. Programs may serve children from preschool to grade 12. Great mini-grant programs are creative, collaborative, and the potential to become an annual/recurring event, and benefit children and their communities. The application deadline is March 31, annually. The online application form and complete guidelines are available on the Foundation’s web site.
