What You’ll Learn:
– Science is a way of thinking – observing, making predictions, wondering & asking questions.
– Technology is a way of doing things – using tools, identifying problems & making things work.
– Engineering is a way of creating – using different materials, & creating things that work.
– Math is a way of measuring – sequencing, patterns, shapes, & size.
How to add some easy and fun science, tech, engineering, art, & math activities to your Early Literacy Programming especially for babies and toddlers.
Activities do not have to be used all together in a special program. Learn to incorporate them into your story times with parents and caregivers as your helpers!
MVLS participants will receive an array of helpful tools to add zing to your programs (you’ll choose what you will use!)
More information is available on the workshop flyer. 2.5 CEU will be awarded. Register online at http://tinyurl.com/yxfy3dc5 ; deadline to register is Monday, May 13.
