June isn’t just Pride Month, it’s also Rainbow Book Month! To celebrate, NYLA would like to promote some social media posts highlighting the efforts member libraries are making to welcome and facilitate LGBTQIA+ literature and communities!
If you are participating, please fill out this Google Form during May in order for NYLA to make some posts highlighting what your library is doing for the month ahead of time.
The focus of this event for us is to showcase what NYLA members are doing; please include a photo or video in your submission, along with a caption. Please ensure that you have permission to upload the likeness of individuals in the photo(s)! The earlier NYLA receives submissions, the better prepared they will be to post them in June.
Alternatively, you can tag NYLA in your social media posts about the event, and they will share them.
